How does the crop tool work?

The crop selection is shown as a draggable rectangle overlay on your image. You can drag its edges to resize the selection area. Only the area inside the selection rectangle will be kept in the final output.

How does resizing work when both width and height are specified?

When you enter both width and height, the image will be resized to exactly those dimensions. If you enter only one dimension, the other will be calculated automatically to maintain the original aspect ratio. Leaving both at 0 uses the original (or cropped) size.

Can I crop and resize at the same time?

Yes. The crop selection defines which area of the original image to keep. Then the resize dimensions are applied to that cropped area. So you can crop out a specific region and then resize it to your desired dimensions in one step.

What image formats are supported?

You can upload JPG, PNG, and WebP images. The output can be saved as JPG, PNG, or WebP. For JPEG output, transparent areas are filled with white.

Is my image uploaded to a server?

No. All image processing happens entirely in your browser using the HTML5 Canvas API. Your image is never uploaded, stored, or transmitted anywhere.
